From press release:

After releasing his first two tapes, “Pinky
Ring” and “Brown Recluse”, Magnetic The
Shaman decided it was time to focus on
branching out, and honing his sound through
collaboration and thus “Kintsugi, Vol. 1” was
born. This three-song EP, out 4/1/21 is the
first in a series of projects focused on
showcasing the collaborative spirit of Hip-Hop
as a genre. Each collaborative EP features
Magnetic, and two producers who have
worked together previously. Each producer
has their own track and they come together to
co-produce the third, hence the name Kintsugi,
referential to a Japanese form of mosaic
pottery. This Jazzhop rhythmic rollercoaster of
a project pulls influence from 90’s Hip Hop
royalty like Wu Tang Clan while making lyrical
references to Magnetic’s treasured childhood
cartoons, anime, and comic books.
